We have an unbelievable collection of spring and summer knit fabrics. There are new prints for all

IDEAS & EASY SUMMER PROJECTS
Something new! Combine knitting and sewing; applique hand knitted components over fabric or use a
hand knitted piece in place of a fabric piece (such as a knitted yoke attached to a knit fabric) by
attaching knitting to the finished edge of a fabric piece.

Purse making is still hot. We carry many Amy Butler and similar designer fabrics that have been very
poplular for not only pursemaking, but also skirts and quilts. Almost any fabric can be used to make a
bag including Waverly prints, tapestries and novelties. We have a great choice of patterns and handles,
etc.

Also, don’t forget our many theme fabrics for making pillowcases for gifts. Kids love them! We have
free handout patterns for these. Many ideas for easy summer projects.

Just in - Great new hot pepper cotton group for making barbeque aprons. Great for your summer
outdoor barbeques. Apron making is easy and great for gifts. Look for many new apron patterns,
including the Retro-look and “Church-Lady” styles.

Magazines are showing an easy way to look “green” — home decor idea—
Remove closet doors in halls, dens or craft rooms and display stacks of matching fabrics,
threads, sewing baskets, etc. on your shelves. Piles of fabrics that match room decor add a special
look. Or - instead of a closet door, make a matching curtain instead.

If you haven’t tried it already, please try Best Press. This is a spray-on starch alternative to easily get rid
of wrinkles. Quilters and seamstresses love it! It comes in 3 colors/fragrances that are clear when
sprayed on.

Also new is a product called “Soak” This is a delicate, hand-wash cleanser that is fiber-friendly. It is
available in three fresh fragrances. “Soak” is ideal for knits, quilts and all hand-washables.

Introducing the Sidewinder, one of the hottest items we’ve seen in years. This is a handy portable
bobbin winder that allows you to fill a bobbin without re-threading your machine.

Spring into all of your spring sewing projects with Gingher’s 8” Spring-Action Scissors. This item makes
